R o u t i n g

They are not essential if your host has already some plugin connexion matrix ability (like Reaper), but it can be easier or faster to use them thanks to their spacial layout visualization.
In most circumstances, in fact each time we don't need to move the sources or to spread them with some subtelty, they can also replace panners or other spacial mass plugins.
To change the input number for the selected output, just move the mouse up or down (and press the Ctrl key for finer values).

M i n i R o u t e   6 6

Simple 6 x 6 matrix to convert audio channels between different 5.1 standards.
It provides :
- six inputs / six outputs
- six gain settings plus a master level
- presets ITU-SMPTE / DTS / EBU configurations

6 x 6

Version : 1.0c

S u r r o u n d I O   1 8 - 1 4

The faster way to place a sound inside a speaker system : select the input channel you want for each output (up to 18 inputs available).
To change the value or mute the channel simply slide the mouse up/down.
Channels mappings from 5.1 to 13.1.

M e t e r s

They don't replace a proper multichannel meter (if you don't have one, try the Mcfx's one), but they provide instead a peak levels view according to the speakers positions (most of them).
It is for me extremely usefull when composing in order to confirm or not what I hear, since it can be sometimes very confusing when we work with a high channel count... It can also be interesting for educationnal purposes, or to accompany a binaural mix.

S u r r o u n d M e t e r  3 D

Simple peak meter that shows the multichannel activity according to the space position.
The peak dBFS value can also be displayed.

The bass managers are perhaps the utilities that you will not find anywhere else ;-)
They all provide :
- 2 poles crossover filter for each input channel, frequency range from 20 Hz to 200 Hz
- LFE send level for each channel
- LFE lowpass filter cutoff and level settings

Multichannel to binaural converter using a HRTF model (fixed for now).
Simply place the plugin at the end of the master's chain : he will receive the mixes from 5.1 to 13.1 and allows you to listen to it in a very approximate but usefull way with headphones ;-)
The blue disk controls the azimuth and the red fader the elevation.
Since it is mainly based on what you hear instead of what you see, there is a built in Pink noise generator that may help you (or not...) to find the best settings for your hearing.
ATTENTION : don't think that everybody will hear like you !
Like any binaural converter, it is rather to be used as a complement to the multi-channel listening more than its replacement... If you want something reliable to work with, buy the SmythRealiser A16...
